Power and I/O cablesCorrect pinout, sufficient wire cross-section and proper strain relief
Mounting hardwareRigid, vibration-free mounting keeps focus and calibration valid

Everything that completes a vision system: GigE, USB3, CoaXPress and Camera Link cables in industrial quality, power supplies, mounts, brackets and converters, matched to HIKROBOT cameras and tested for drag chain use where specified.

Frequently asked questions

Which cable length can I use for GigE cameras?

Standard GigE cabling works up to 100 m; high flex versions are specified for drag chains and moving axes.

What should I check when selecting a power and I/O cable?

Connector type on the camera side, required length, straight or angled connector and whether the cable must be high flex rated.

Are third party cameras supported?

The cables follow the respective interface standards and fit any standard compliant camera.

More questions about cables and accessories

Which cables work in drag chains?

Only cables rated for continuous flexing survive drag chains and moving axes. Standard cables break internally after a short time, causing intermittent image dropouts that are hard to diagnose.

When do I need an optical filter?

A bandpass filter matched to your light color suppresses ambient light, and a polarizer reduces glare on shiny surfaces. Both mount to the lens filter thread.

How important is the mechanical mounting?

Very. A rigid mount preserves focus, calibration and measurement repeatability, while vibration blurs images and slowly drifts the alignment of camera and light.
